About Us
The Artist Albin Liebscher emigrated from Germany in 1950 at the age of twenty, fighting 2½ years in Korea to earn his U.S. Citizenship.
Once stateside he sculpted marble statues for churches in the upper Midwest. His sense of adventure led him
around the states until he became mesmerized by the Southwest USA settling in Las Vegas and becoming the top-rated commercial Artist in the 1960’s.
In 1969 he married Marian Lang Terry and moved with her 5 children to Southern Utah, where she had ties and where he became utterly enamored with the area, especially Zion Natl Park. Albin created literally hundreds of works of art, each of them amazing to the beholder.
Alas, only several remain. He was tragically killed in an auto accident in 1975. He was only 45. The world will never know what other incredible artwork he had still to produce in his lifetime and that is a real shame. Albin’s stepchildren are
honored to create a legacy for him beginning with this screen printed T-shirt of his wonderful sketch of the Great White Throne.
